Tails on the Trails is a pet festival that includes dog swims, pet related vendors, educational demonstrations and pet show. So bring your pet, come have some fun and maybe find a new friend in one of TARA's adoptable dogs or cats!

Midwest Kids Fest 10-5

Midwest Kids Fest strives to produce a family event that allows kids of ALL ages to play and learn in a safe atmosphere. There is TONS of family shopping, as well as information for seeking healthier, happier families. Midwest Kids Fest has everything from stage entertainment (kids characters, singers, speakers, and demonstrations), to workshops/hands-on activities (most vendors provide a free activity at their booth for kids to enjoy), to kid entertainment (face painting, petting zoo, pony rides, etc - the list goes on and on!) Midwest Kids Fest provides all of the necessary avenues and information to raise happier, healthier families - all in one weekend and under one roof!

Waldo Rockin' Block Party 10am-9pm

Day long activities include booth spaces for area businesses and associations, hourly entertainment, inflatables and games for the children, exhibitions, and lots more. Complete the day at Waldo's Happy Hour beginning at 6 p.m. with "Disco Dick and the Mirror Balls" performing under the big tent. All activities take place in the southeast parking lot at 75th and Wornall Rd. Come hang out and meet some of TARA's adoptable pets while you're there!
