Archie is an amazing guy who was rescued after his family abandoned him in a junk lot when they moved to another state. For two months he faithfully waited in the lot for his family to return for him with barely enough food or water to survive. Heartbreakingly enough, he would even run after and bark at loud pick-up trucks because that's what his family drove...he must have thought they were leaving again without him.

This guy just wants someone to love him as much as he loves. He is great with other dogs and people. Archie is still a little shy and he is learning to trust people again. Even while he is learning, he is not skimpy at all on showing his affection...including giving wonderful kisses. He deserves someone who will show him that family does NOT leave one another behind, that family is forever.

Adoption Fee: $150

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and prevention (if age appropriate), flea prevention and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a two week trial. 

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed.  Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.
